Cabo Construction Corporation was founded and incorporated on the 28th of December 1999. Cabo is a full service prime contracting and subcontracting SBA Hub Zone, MBE and DBE certified firm with particular focus in heavy civil, underground utility work, excavation, storm water management, soil erosion, industrial concrete, asphalt, and construction management, for both the public and private sectors.

OUR EQUIPMENT INVENTORY

Our equipment inventory includes over twenty-five (25) pieces of heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, loaders, and asphalt pavers. In addition to our well trained employees, our executive managers have engineering degrees and licenses.

Meet The Team

Frank Cabello

PRESIDENT

Mr. Frank Cabello has owned and managed Cabo Construction Corp. for over twenty (20) years. Mr. Cabello is responsible for the general daily operations of the company in addition to bidding and estimating, project management oversight, personnel assignment, and scheduling, and ensuring our clients’ needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Mr. Cabello has worked with the CDOT and managed large improvement projects in the very congested central business district of Chicago. His experience working in the public right of way has taught how to anticipate and accommodate unforeseen conditions and dynamic construction environments.

Mr. Cabello contributed to the OMP’s “World’s Most Sustainable Airport Construction Project” as part of the team for the New Federal Express Vehicle Maintenance Facility. From deliveries to the site to materials leaving the site; the construction team was focused on efficient and LEED friendly construction practices.

Robert Bohac

VICE PRESIDENT

Mr. Robert Bohac has thirty-four (34) years of construction industry experience. His is co-owner of Cabo Construction Corp. and manages the field construction of their lager projects. He has significant experience in excavation, site work and heavy underground construction. Some of his relevant projects include ITSHA I-06-8975, ISTHA 1-07-5242, ISTHA 1-08-5494, IDOT 4P (I-80/94/US 6), Metra Southwest Corridor Expansion, Clark Street Reconstruction, Flagg Creek Water Reclamation Facility and Lake County Water Reclamation Plant.

As Vice President for Cabo, Mr. Bohac managed CDOT/ IDOT / ISTHA projects and kept public safety first and foremost on the daily marching orders. Awareness of and adjusting for adjacent development projects in this busy central business district was also a major accomplishment that kept the projects on track.
