ORD Terminal 5 Concourse M Extension, Core Expansion & Repurposing

ORD Terminal 5 Expansion is one of the biggest projects that is taking place at O’Hare at this time. This project is part of the O’Hare -21 program. After registering over 80 million passengers in 2018, it was more than sufficient to consider a new expansion in Terminal 5. It is the newest terminal since it was built back in 1993, however, due to the large demand, a new expansion is a must. This project consists of a new overhaul of the existing terminal as well as adding 10 new gates and also new passenger amenities, concession areas and airline lounges. Cabo Construction is performing excavation and site utilities for this project which include new water main and storm sewers
